Tutorial with Ben- Change of plan

Okay, so been questioning this for at least a week. At first I was really happy with this new style, and thought it was working well, but when I was trying to make it look finished and refined, I was struggling.
Luckily Ben caught me in the studio in the midst of my confusion. One of my out of order prints was sitting next to my work, and he told me that I should go for that aesthetic.
Its been right in front of my nose this whole time. For some reason I decided to steer away from it, thinking I needed to do something different, when all along I needed to build on this style. By doing this I will create a coherent looking portfolio.

This print was the most successful thing ive done to date. I was avoiding it because I knew how time consuming it was. However, I think I know how to work quickly in this style now. I mean I had tried it, like the image below, but wasn't overly happy with the outcome, and instead of working at it I changed it completely. I need to remember to work at things in order to get the result I want. This style is far more professional looking, and is eye catching.
I think it will work well for my prints and in my book, so now I need to re-work the images Ive done so that I can colour them easily in this colour palette.

Im so glad Ben advised me this way, but now I have a lot of work to do before the deadline. I know I can do it though, I just need to manage my time wisely and put maximum effort into it.
