Over Easter I researched into the book, and stated making roughs whilst trying to understand the book. I don't think I realised the complexity of the book when I started with it, and now I'm not sure yet again if I've chosen the right thing to do. Everything seems to be going wrong and I'm not enjoying myself at all.
I quite liked making some of the roughs for Journey to the West, probably because i love drawing animals, especially if they're wearing clothes.
Im finding it difficult to understand the story as well as make work at the same time, so I've stared to write on each page so as to get facts and images in one. The story is so all over the place that it feels like its taking me ages to get anywhere.
The comments from this megacrit were really nice, but not really anything helpful or what I didn't already know. The last comment is probably the best, what context? I still don't know and I'm starting to panic now.
I finally got my ceramics back too, and half of them have disappeared, so all of that work and time I put into making them seems to be completely wasted, which Im quite upset about.
However, there's no time to be upset, need to get on with this as I still feel as lost as when I started.
