After making a few into repeat patterns I decided the one above worked best. It seemed to flow much better and the design started to stand out a lot more next to the rest for me.
I tried all of the others, and even tried adding elements of others into the one that worked best, but I think started to over crowd the design, and I realised that leaving it be was more effective than over working it.
I quite like the two above, I think the little characters are best on these, I just need to work out a way that they would flow a bit better. The current design after changing the offset on photoshop still looks tiled. Im really considering working on a few for this, because after looking at the website, I think I'm bringing something completely original to the wall.
Colour variations. Simple white and yellow was still the one for me though.
