Artist Research- Mike Perry

After the success from Secret 7, and realising what worked well for me, I decided to do some research into illustrators that use shape within their work. Mike Perry was the one that shone through with his bold patterns and strange shapes.

Like the idea of making something like this myself, shapes underneath an illustration that sits on top but shows through. 

What Mike Perry achieves and what I would like to-

Bright colours

-Bold shapes

-Interesting compositions

-Varied techniques with a similar outcome which creates a set/series

-Texture 

Pretty sure I can take on board a few of these things as I start to create some designs for the feathr wallpaper brief.
