After my tutorial with Ben I came away and started to research the book. I started on 50 watts website which Ben told me about, its awesome! Found some beautiful illustrations there as shown here.
I really love the mix of block colours and simple lines, and is something i would like to incorporate into my own work.
Ive read the start of Journey to the West, but didn't realise that its an actual novel. A huge novel. Ive got the gist of it, but need to read more about the book.
To do-
- Gather more info on the book
- Make some images from the book
- Think about where this can be applied, whether or not i will be telling a story or just illustarting characters etc
