Done a little more character work from the book. The hybrid thing is definitely something I want to push forward.
I need to:
-Try some new medias.
-Eventually find a style to go with, as everything is so varied at the moment I'm afraid it won't work well as a set.
-Keep drawing.
-Use some wet media, I miss watercolours.
Looking at themes and motifs and experimenting with sections of one of her short stories ' The Debutante'. Which is about a hyena that goes to the ball in her place wearing the maids face. Its pretty dark really but good to draw from.
Keeping it simple, just getting ideas down ready to develop into something. I like the idea of a visual journal. Im usually too precious with my sketchbooks, but this time I'm just going for it and enjoying it so much more.
