Its been really good practice to draw from words and interpret what the scenes might look like in your own head. I always wonder if what I draw is anywhere close to what she might have been imagining as she wrote the books. Think this sort of drawing would help towards editorial illustrations in the future.
Ive been drawing a lot from just the books lately. I think it would be good to start looking at Leonora and her life a bit more. I intend to start looking at her works of art and study surrealism a bit more, as I had written that as one of the main reasons I wanted to study her back in the start.
