Took the advice on board from the crit and started working to the actual scale of the poster. Working on various coloured paper has been much better for me to get my ideas down. These are merely ideas knocking around at the moment, and I'm not particularly happy with either. However I know now that I definitely want to work with pencil colours, as I love the marks and texture they creat. And i know I want to include a portrait of Ranulph Fiennes himself somewhere, more than likely in the poster.
Things to consider at this point:
I want a clean outcome. Something perhaps minimalistic. Need to start thinking like a designer, rather than just drawing pictures. Will keep working on this as of now.
