Media experimentation allowed me to see what worked best. For the boy in the rocket i felt the pencil colours worked better than the watercolours, because they added a childish charm that i wanted to create. However there's definitely more room for experimenting.
I was recently given a bamboo pad, so these are practice pieces that turned out quite well i feel.
These were mainly colour palette experimentations. Although i definitely want to create a gif using a digital colour palette for one of my gifs, so this practice was needed! Some colours work better than others, and it will definitely be a case of testing copious amounts of palettes before I feel completely satisfied.
