Helen Beard
Her work inspires me completely. I really want to work with ceramics and illustration, always have, and I guess this is my chance. I love the delicate drawings she creates onto the beautifully crafted vessels.
Kaye Blegvad
I was shown Blegvad's work by Sophie the other day, and instantly fell in love. I really like the rough, not so perfect look these have. I really like the idea of making something pretty, that communicates something, as well as useful.
Il Sung Na
Beautiful little ceramic characters. Could bring the idea of character and story telling into the crafted ceramic elements?
Charlotte Mei
I wish I was Charlotte Mei. She runs her own ceramic workshops in London which is pretty cool. Next time Im there I might go to one. I also like that she created a mini set with her ceramics being the centre piece, another option to consider.
Megan Clarke
Clarke is cool. She describes herself as an inventor, which I love! Im so ready to push past the constraints of a piece of paper, and start working on new and exciting projects using a different section of media. I would like to refer back to Clarke throughout this module in order to keep me inspired on a daily basis. I just love her practice.
