I started story boarding, just to make it easier to visualise my story. Its definitely a great way to see what you've got and what you'd like to add. Because after drawing this I realised a few things id missed.
I had a little difficulty deciding what media to use. It was a close call between watercolour and pencil colours, but after my crit on monday, pencil colours and photoshop came out on top. I was also told to look at Lizzie Stewart's work during the crit. Her work is beautiful, and i definitely was influenced by her work when it came to drawing my finals.
Her mark making adds an incredible charm to her work. Something i really wanted to achieve with my book. Not only does the book i am going to produce need to be aesthetically pleasing, but I also need to make people feel something when they look at it.
