Joe Sacco's work has been massively influential to me during my research. Its good to see how he illustrates the sensitive subjects he covers.
Critical Incident.
Seeing how he produced his images in a cartoon style made me opt to draw characters rather than realistic portraits. Sacco made me realise you can still create emotive art work without having to have the realistic approach. Opened my eyes I guess.
