Greeting from...Initial ideas and roughs

Brainstorms are always useful. I came up with a bunch of random ideas for this brief, but nothing solid. So I thought id just get to it with experimenting, and hoped something would come from it.

I liked the idea of using a famous figure from that particular city. But it needed something else. The San fran idea i liked. I wanted to see if i could represent the city using only shapes. I guess it works but for all we know that could be anywhere. More roughs should help me figure this out.
