The idea behind my mask was that my head is simply full of mush. I wanted to create something rather comical and light hearted and therefore the mushroom head seemed perfect. I overcame a few obstacles during the making of the mask, as at first i tried to make it 2D, which just looked too flat and not at all mushroom like. The 3D, over the head mask worked much better, and the taking of the photo was a fantastic amount of embarrassing in the local park.
